    SKY DISH

    Hi guys i tried to set up a dreambox 500s for a friend today with a 4 year old sky dish but could not get a signal have set up some dishes before with no problem tuned the dreambox on my dish to save time but when i went to set his up could not get signal i have a meter digisat pro would the lnb be nackered where is the best place to buy one to fit the sky dish also has anyone used this meter Digital Satellite Finder Meter DVB-S Satlink 6906 are they any good.

    cheap as chips on flea bay m8 , a fiver usually sorts one out , even a new quad with legacy bracket

      re ur signal finder.. yeah its no doubt good.. but so is a ?6.99 jobbie from fleabay

        yeah I"v had a WS-6906 for some time and for the price you wont get a better meter you get full picture/signal/quality/ber.easy to pre-load from an existing dish with any sat/channels.easy to add new TPs etc.I did make a hood for it as the display needs shielding in sunlight.

              use your bluetooth on yor phone and get help to tell you when signal goes up on tv ,move dish a little bit at time give time for lnb to set thats all i done and its free 28e dead easy to pick up hope this help

                  Did you buy a ?65 meter to set up one dish ? If your a sat installer i can understand. But for a one off job...why not just buy a cheap one for a fiver.
