Costs of setting up a sat system

Well after many years with virmin Doing the normal basic sub then after n3 full sub, I'm finally thinking of getting into the sat scene just wondered how much will a set up cost me? And the average running costs? Not after all signing all dancing 3pm kick offs just normal uk sly tv or instead of sat do I just buy a kryptview

    Sky dish fitted?50
    openbox s9/10/10?60
internet conection (what you can get it for)

Home plugs ?30 a pair if router is not near tv.
everything else is extra if you want better.

Top box is VU duo twin tuner ?339 plus sata hard drive.
your choice is inbetween the two.

So I take it u would advise going the sat route rather then kryptview? Sat seem more stable

or you can buy yourself a clone dm800hd pro for about?120 from china delivered and then google cardshare... can't talk about that on the forum as it's not allowed.

you can use your existing dish and everything. just plug in have a read and away you go....

Yes mate, go sat. Cable scene is very closed/limited. And due to these reasons unreliable.

              My setup cost about ?170
?25 for the dish and all the cables and fixings, I fitted dish myself.
              ?140 for my receiver.
And about a fiver for a long drill bit to get cable through the wall.
I could have got a cheaper box but the one I went with is very easy to setup.
I've only had it up about a week but I absolutely love it.
