Dark motor or new horizons motor ?

Hi , my motor seems to be acting up and not moving as it should, stuttering and jerking sometimes, in good weather, so I'm thinking of investing in a better motor ( original motor is my first bought out of maplin as motorized bundle a few years ago, not sure what make it is) , but I have two motors in mind to buy and was wondering if anyone has used either of these motors or could recommend a good one, ..Supreme intelligent dark motor ,all metal gears ?50. Or New horizons NH-210 for ?37, .. I'm will be using this motor on a 1 metre dish with single dreambox 800hd, any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

definitely a metal geared one like the darkmotor , not worth saving a few quid for any plastic geared one

+1 imho the dark morot is the best motor available unless u start spening silly money on actuators and suchlike

it might have metal gears but the drive shaft is mounted in a plastic housing

got the dark motor on a 90 cm fibo dish works a treat
