using old sky+ box as a pvr on DM500s

Just looking for a bit of help.
Scoured all over and cant find any answers.
Is it at all possible to use an old sky+ plus with a DM500s to somehow mash together and have a "working" PVR of some kind?

only by removing the hdd and using it with your dreambox , possibly in an external usb adapter housing

TBH im not surprised, but would have thought somebody may have had a crack at it in some way.
