I have a mate who has the world hd pack with sky but not got a 3d tv.I have offered to borrow him mine while i go on hols to see if he likes the 3d experience before buying one.I told him to phone sky to activate the 3d channel will they know if it activated while he not got the 3dtv or will it affect his tv when i have mine back.

no it wont afect his tv because he wont have the facility
to put the split screen into 1.... as you will see on the 3d
remote you have to press the 3d button to activate the 2
camara shots to go into 1.

yes i know that have sky3d myself but he says he cant afford tv till easter and wanted to use mine for a week to see if it worth splashing out on i told him to just phone them up when i have tv back and turn it off.However he is the forgetful type and leave it on until he gets his tv if he decides to splash the cash cheers

it costs nothing extra and wont affect anything. sky cant tell what tv you have
