Blade 7000 hell !

Setup my first box this week - blade 7000, but having major headaches !
Flashed 5 Jan firmware and joined a Russian service... which works UNTIL you put the box into standby or powered off.
Weather works instantly..as does blade downloads...so I'm sure the network is OK - even tried a reflash,factory reset and reconfigured a fixed ip !
Don't know what to do now, apart from leave the box on .

Any ideas please ....

when you turn the box on , and press 9991 , does it say CONNECTED in green , or disconnected in red ? ( on this russki service )

Goes to green CONNECTED after a few seconds...again telling me the network is ok ?
Its been running now for a hour faultlessly ...so the connection is there..but switch off and it refuses to play-despite the connected status !ARRGH
has anyone else experienced this on a blade ?

it should do that , boot up , go into 9991 and if it says green connected the cs line is working , never mind the network (the traffic and weather tests networking) so it seems to be doing its job properly

once their system has logged you in then the channels should clear , although this may take a couple of minutes depending how they are doing it , it wont be instant like if you had a card

try doing what i said on the other forum
if you dont want to then try to find the 122p firmware which is older without the 'extras' but connects a lot better.......

again - apparently it has issues with netgear routers

Been on since the start...now it just died ...server is saying DISCONNECTED
Nothing changed this end, it just cut off mid program...
Appears to be a local network issue...had to turn dchp back on to get weather to work, but alas no magic

m8 that russian server does not work with blades all ways has to be reset every day full stop

Thanks for the sanity check guys...currently plugged into the modem directly...eliminating my network altogether ! Still dont work.
So glad I only had the one month.

Its that russian server used it myself for a month scrambles all the time. i used to have to scan ip settings every morning even tho they where showing up

Its looking like a cert that it IS the server, so ill be looking for a new one.

Use the latest. The Jan one. I'm almost certain its the server. Getting a testline will sort it straight out.

paulie it is the server do not waste anymore time with it

i still dont understand why people go to it anyway as there is better quality and better prices closer to home plus there is no setanta and a few others missing from what i seen at my m8s

he was having the same bother you have had even not turning box of it had to be rebooted every morning
