ive installed quite a few 1m iss motorised dishes using L brackets and never had any problems although they can be difficult to get plumb. i have also seen varying quality brackets with some really poor ones.. i always use t+k brackets now and better components but when i first started installing as a hobby about 5 years ago i used them as i purchased full kits as price was king and thats what you were given. regards mdt

i have always fitted L brackets and i buy them in boxes of 5
and there has been times where i have found dodgey welding
on them but had no problems getting them replaced by the supplier, i always check the welding and buy the L brackets
that have 8 bolt holes in as 4 is not enough.

Read a lot of good reviews, but you cannot beat an installers experience!

Hi, I'm not a professional installer, but I bought and installed that CDTronix motor last summer and so far so good.

yes, they are crap....keep losing positions every 24 hours.

Alsat Dark Motor...never had a sniff of a problem with these.

I am taking this New Horizion motor back tomorrow to swap for Dark Motor.
