A while ago there was a thread about the end of cs in Australia. Looking through the internet facts are difficult to find. I wondered if anyone knew one way or the other what's happening over there.

Had a look. Doesn't seem too worrying. Whatever they have done over there, I think the European hackers would hack it straight away if we got it here. Would they go to the effort and introduce something that might be hacked overnight.Comment

It probably would be hacked fairly quickly (there's already a fair amount of technical chatter on the australian mods) but it would likely take at least 6 months to filter into publicly available cams and the nature of the mod means sky could change it very quickly likely resulting in another extended blackout period. Sky would basically start a war of attrition with only the 'hard core' bothering to play after a few months. Those that are only interested in viewing tv would probably soon give up.Comment
