Same setup as a dreambox as its an Enigma2 Linux box, I use to have the ET9000 which is basically the same but had 2 main faults 1. the AGC signal bar never worked (driver problem still not resolved) and 2. the TP SR30000 bug which would not display a picture properly if the TP you where viewing has an SR30000 symbol rate ( Hardware fault only just fixed )

if your going to get one make sure you get the ET9200 "Silverline Edition" they have only been out a couple of weeks and this model has the above 2 faults fixed apparently

    UK RRP is ?359

        Complet Newbie.

Just seen this thread and I am in the process of bying the ET9200 SILVERLINE. I am into PCs at a good user level but this looks a bit more than your average pc boff.
I need to ask you good folks on here could someone like me get the most out of using the ET9200?
        Thanks in advance.

hi you will have good fun learning linux and enigma2 and you will get plenty of help on here

if you are computer savvy you will have no problems with a et9200 i had a 9000 and it was simple enough to set up

Yup.. ET 9000 here, and it is really easy to setup with excellent support.

The SR30000 problem only happens on Tuner B so if you use that on 28 east (say) you won't have any probs.

It looks really good, with a professional finish on the outside so that makes it very easy on the eye. DLNA works great, so you can broadcast all recordings over your DLNA to Xbox PS3 etc....
