Which receiver

Hello

Im new and I want to buy a receiver to have channels from different countries like zon and digital+.
I saw that one possibility is to use cardsharing (dreambox).
I also saw, here on this site, that some receiver have softcam keys (or something like that). This fact lets me think that it is possible to have this kind of channels without any subscription for cardsharing.
Am I right? What receiver do you advise for receive paid channels without cardsharing?

you wont get many channels without cs

especially not the ones you want , that method is years out of date

there is usually a list accompanying the softcams telling you what they open , which is mainly on 39e and 5e at best , possibly a few on 13e and 19e too

almost any modern box will pick the channels up from a suitable dish

decoding the channels is much harder in 2012 than it was 5 to 10 years ago however

So, for example, the Technomate receiver has a section of Softcam keys. With a technomate receiver I would not be able to receive all the channels of zon and/or digital+? (for example)

it can receive any channel that are on a satellite in range of your dish , so it all depends on your dish size and location

the point I was making is that IF you can scan in the channels (receive them), it doesnt mean you can DECODE them

so to decode channels you normally need cs and that means an ethernet connection to your router and the internet , and a cs feed from the internet

so without cs you will not decode D+ as its nagra 3 , and I havent heard of zon

so you may be able to scan and receive D+ and Zon easily , but may not be able to decode them

Zon same is cabo I think.

Zon has same channel listings as Meo group both on 30? west, apart from the odd one or 2 channels
