    Communial Dish...

Hi, I've searched for info but can't find any so hope someone can help me.

I've just moved house, sold my Kryptview (no cable here), and am now in a block of flats with a communal sat dish (for Sky obviously).

Can i get a Dreambox, plug it in, and be up and running? Or do you need a motorized dish, that you can control, to get anywhere?

Sorry for my ignorance if this is a basic question. Still recovering from the shock of losing my cable service after years of Dreamboxes etc! Want to learn about the Sat setup but need to know if I'm in a hopeless situation.

    Cheers

Tks - it is worth my while investing in a Sat receiver if that's where the dish is pointed?
