Changed SKY+ Box, Now Signal to other TVs

    Hello Digital Kaos,

First time posting so be gentle, I have recently changed SKY+ boxes over as one wasnt working changed all the connections as they should be, but once this was done, it messed with all the other tvs round the house.

(many years ago we had sky piped all round the house to every TV so what evers on downstairs can be watched on any other TV)

But when I changed the receivers over couldn't get sky on any of the other TVs so I have re tuned the TVs and now can except the picture isn't clear at all quite fuzzy, was very good before hand so I have trimmed the end of the leads going into the booster box and hoped that might help but alas no improvement.

So I am helping that one of the many geniuses on this forum will have a solution before I go and spend cash on the local satellite engineers help.

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers

    Tom

It sounds as if the RF output of your new box is different to that of the old one and is now clashing with one of the channels from your local transmitter. To change the RF output you need to enter the Installers Menu and alter it there.
For a normal box this is ...

    Services-4-0-1-Select

or a HD box it is...

    Services-0-0-1-Select

(....the default RF channel is usually 68.)
