    Motorised vs Multi LNB

    Hi again,

well i might have a change of plan from my motorised project.
(im also very new to all this!) so forgive me for stupid questions!

ive learned that the dish doesnt have to point at the sat...only the lnb has to do that (told you i was new) .. so as i only want skyuk + viasat.. is it possible to just have 2 lnbs and point 1 at each sat?
or is 28.2 and 4.8 to far apart for 1 dish?

if the multi lnb works...id get a 4 way multiblock..and just add another lnb as and when..

    thanks

    Massive gap.
Motor is best, and will give you lots more like fta premier darts on 19.2e along with boxing/fa cup etc.
Loads to be had free in epl footy on 7e.

              Yes, from AD sports.
Pic quality sometimes good sometimes poor.

I can get a distance from 28.2e to 0.8w on a 80cm dish with multi lnb bracket so you could maybe get 4.8e using multi lnb bracket, but I also have a 1 metre dish with motor and can get a lot more satellites than you will ever get on any lnb bracket, dish & motor is easily the best set up.

28.2 too 0.8 on multi lnb

                  28.2 too 0.8 on multi lnb ?

what set up is that as never seen a off the shelf bracket more than 20 degrees apart

Agree with motorised is best, but for the none enthusiast or the sport/film only users, then a fixed dish/dishes and multi 1.1 switching is easier

have both the above you could call it his and hers

To get the Nordic beam and Viasat on 4.8? east and to allow for good rain fade margin you would need a 1m or better still a 1.1m with 4.8? as your main sat and 28.2? east as your offset LNB
