According to your Postcode the latitude is 52.3 for the motor so on the motor latitude reading side put the small mark on the 52 setting.

Your dish elevation is setting a starting point of 23 but take this with a pinch of salt it could be anywhere between 23 and 30

From your postcode above i get these from dishpointer

              Latitude: 52.2721?
              Longitude: -1.4988?

These need to go into your Spiderbox Motor settings

your dish elevation comes out at 23? but as i say take this with a pinch of salt you dish elevation could vary between 23-30.

              Regards

                  the box will be a 9000 HD , not a 900 (unless its a 9900 )

the box will need patching with the 15 nov 2011 patch if its a 9000 , or use the latest 9900 patch if its a 9900

you can use any spiderbox HD channel list , or make your own

as for your usals settings on your box , they are as follows

                  001.5W

                  52.3N

Hi. In my TM5400 SUPER i have the lat and long set as follows: 00.0W and 00.0N. (it should be 00.1W and 51.5N for London). The motor still goes from 30 West to 45 East with no problems. I can never understand what this latitude and longitude figures are meant to do. If using USALS and you sent the dish to 30 West it will go to 30 West , if you send it to 45 East it will go there etc. I believe that to get the signals from the satellites depends on how you set up the dish on the motor and the way your LNB is focused . Remember if using DISEQC(1.2) you dont need any latitude and longitude figures and the satellites are still found. Maybe somebody can explain to me why USALS needs the latitude and longitude figures. Regards.

Basically because USALS is software based and so when entering your Lon and Lat details into your receiver this gives it exact location information on where abouts you are in the world.

The receiver then talks to the Motor again which is software controlled and tells it you are HERE so to speak and the tells it to go to 30 west, The motor has this information and so turns to 30 west and so on.

I have tried to word that as simple as i could to avoid bogging you down with technical mumbo jumbo
