    Reception problem

Hi, I currently have 90cm motorised dish. I was using a single output technomate 0.1db LNB but recently changed to a sly quad LNB. I seem to struggle to get any signal above 75% and sometimes drops to about 70% and glitching. This is on 28.2 east. Wouyld the sly LNB cause a problem with signal?

check to see if the skew on the lnb has moved as the sky lnbs dont fit very well....you would be much better buying a inverto black ultra lnb.....BJ1

sly lnb,s are fine when used on strong satellites for the uk like 13e or 19e or 29e or 30w, but you may have the focus or skew set incorrectly, or the dish may need fine tuning with spanners to get the optimum signal, assuming your usals or diseqc settings are correct of course

the inverto ultra black would have been a better choice, but you would still have to fine tune the dish

The Sky quads are an elliptical shape designed especially for use with the Sky Zone 1 and 2 elliptical dish to maximise signal performance.

To maximise signal on your 90cm as bj1 and ramjet have already mentioned change it for a Black ultra.
