    Help deciding which reciever, replace S*Y HD

    Hi All

    im looking at replacing our S*Y HD receiver
    what im after is something easy to use,
    has the abilitty to watch one channel and record another
    good EPG and record feature
    as its for the technically challenged wife!

    im thinking of a VU+ duo fitted with a 1TB HDD

    any help is appreciated

          The 2 most popular receivers at the moment have to be the Vu+ Duo and the Xtrend ET9200 'Silverline Edition'.

          The Duo coming up to just over 3 years old with the Xtrend latest model just 2 months old both have very good support and both are priced at ?319

          The Duo has more Teams building images for it with the Xtrend not too far behind, Specification wise the Xtrend is the better option.

          If you looking for just standard watch and record they will both do exactly the same thing, If you want extra features like PIP or Blindscan then its the ET9200.

          if your on a budget and want to take a chance then how about a clone Price starting from ?190 requires a little more fiddling about but when done acts as an original.
