    LNBs Set Up

    Hi guys
I***8217;m after some advice about adding more LNBs to my already set up dish.
I***8217;m in London and have an 80cm TRIAX dish that is set up for 13e and 19.2e with a very good signal on both satellites at the moment on 13e the (SNR IS 94%, AGC 91%, BER 0%) ON 19.2 (SNR IS 91%, AGC 89%, BER 0%), I would like to add a TRIAX multi LNB holder with the total of 4 singles LNBs to get 13e, 16e, 19.2e and 28.2e.
My question is would my 80cm support this setup? If the answer is yes would these LNBs included in this deal do a good job? (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2708974783...84.m1423.l2649)
    Thank you for your help.

getting 13e , 19e and 28.2e is no problem with that type of lnb rack

the problems will start with getting 16e , as the 13e and 19e lnb,s will be almost touching each other and so wont allow for the 16e lnb to slot in between them

even using slimline lnb,s you get a problem as the lnb holders are almost touching each other , so the holders get in the way of the 16e holder even without lnb,s to contend with

a 3 degree spacing is always hard to achieve , so you may be better to look at getting 5e or something similar instead of 16e

the 80cn supports what I said above although a bigger dish gives better spacing and more scope , like a td110 dish would
but even that may not help with 16e

a motor on your present dish is a better option and gives more satellites too

Hi, I've got the same bracket and I've got a triax 78 cm dish and I have the following sats although reception isn't great on the weaker sats - 0.8w,4.8e,9e,13e,19e,23e,28e, (I added extra lnb's with hose pipe clamps) good enough reception on the main sats you spoke of , so your dish and bracket should be fine ,can't say about the lnb's as I used inverto ultra's.

Thank you for your responses, excellent!! 16e is not as important to as 28.2e so that set up with 80cm dish should be fine then, as I will have a fourth LNB I will try the 5e option rather than have the LNB just setting there.
How about the LNBs on that deal are they good enough?

any are good enough for 13e , 19e and 28.2e , for 5e you may want to use an inverto ultrablack though , no harm in trying what you have before buying the inverto

hi abbs ... i have a multi lnb system on 13E 16E 19.2E and 28.2E using this kit Inverto Multiconnect LNB kit. 20 degree, 3 & 4 LNB bracket from the Satellite Superstore UK. 3 satellite bracket. (scroll down for the 4lnb kit ) ... not cheap but works great ..... without it you won't get 16E

                Hi there
I had a look at the website before but I?m really trying to spend as little as possible to be honest, my priority is to receive 13e/ 19.2e and 28.2e, the fourth LNB rather than leave it setting on side it would have been set to 16e but since the spacing for the LNB would be a problem I?ll just set it for another satellite just to make use of it.

I realise that this post was made well over two years ago, but I'd be interesting in a seeing a picture of that setup.

Otherwise what satellites would I realistically pick up with multi lnb setup on a 80cm dish (location: mid wales)?

Reading other posts it would be realistic to get 5e, 13e, 19e and 28e, all on one 'bar', but would I be able to get range 0.8w to 30e on the same 'bar'?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

0.8 is going to be miles of prime focus to get any reasonable reception if any. I first set up my 90cm triax with 4.8, 13, 19.2 & 23.5 but changed 4.8 for 9 cause I couldn't pick up viasat so no point in 4.8 I'm in the East mids 28.2 is also right on the edge of the bar same as 4.8 so I use my standard mini dish for 28
