no it doesnt make any difference which firmware is on your box , the january one is fine

what does matter is that your usals are set correctly for your location , such that you pick up 0.8 west ok

or if using diseqc v1.2 you will have to locate and store each satellite yourself

if your dish has moved you may have to adjust the longitude by up to say 2 degrees either way until you find your reference satellite

if you have a sly dish , test the box on a sat feed using 28e and ensure bbc and itv are ok , that then rules out the box

then you will have to connect to your motor and decide what went wrong, but as the weather has been ok recently I cannot see that the dish and motor have been blown off line

so its more likely to be a usals problem

which indicates to me that the dish is not pointed at 28.2 east

try it on a fixed dish feed like a sly feed , and check bbc and itv again

Was your dish/motor set up working on a previous receiver?
Or have you jsut set it up?

like I said earlier , it appears its misaligned

I trust you have turned the blade off and back on again using the rear switch ? (a full reset)

just because it says its moving doesnt mean the motor is actually moving , check by looking at the motor itself

you are wrong there , the blade has a coax input and a coax output , one above the other on the back of the box (a loopthrough)

obviously the cable should be in the top one (lnb input)

you cannot even do the basics that I have asked you to do , so no I dont think its something you can do as you dont have the necessary skills or knowhow and havent even tested the box on a sly feed (anybodys sly feed would do)

have you tried turning it off and back on ?
