what aspect of it do you think is fake? is it a real dreambox? NO, but then id say only about 2% of dk'ers have genuine dreamboxes.. clones are fine

Cheers shady. As I said I know ~~~~ all at the minute, so as far as it goes clones are just as good but without the official support. Do you have to be particularly careful what you flash it with, in fact I'm off to read some more so that I don't bombard all you good chaps with stupid questions

m8 for a extra 20 quid you can get a vu duo clone blows and dm 800 clones outa the water as its got twin tuner function and uses genuine images not patched ones likes dm clones

just before you go jumping in on dm800 give it some thought do a little reading on duo clone first

clone duos are 185-200 depending on where you buy from his dm800 on first post was 174 so yes extra 20 pounds

You can get a clone 800 from China for around ?115 delivered.

i haven't seen the link....but if they charging ?174 (i thought most suppliers stopped taking the piss ) for a dm800 clone.....hmmmmmm i think highlander wants to have a look at he china suppliers as can get those for about ?110 delivered.

best price for a duo clone delivered was around ?200 when i last looked....don't know if they have reduced in price....i think they need to as the originals are only ?285 in comparison.

I dont see the point the the se tbh as the pro does just the same and for cheaper.

But I have had a play with a original duo and I liked them.

So for ?190 then id say go for the tuner, if not to bothered then go for the Dm800 Pro.

You say the 800 pro but doesn't that have a dvi connection and not hdmi meaning I'll need another lead for audio

No dvi gives full HD and you dont need any other cable
