Excellent little package m8, even without a cam and where as the receiver is just "patched" ...Seriously looking at a HD receiver tho in the near future, so I better go now and start saving....
Talking about trees I had one in front of my sat dish belonging to the council, and guess what m8?.. I climbed the bloody nuisance and mutilated the so and so by cutting off several branches off the dam thing (12 months ago, no warrant served as yet, fingers cross)could not get anything on one 1w like yourself without pixalation, now its much better..Also what I've noticed with that bird is, the shorter your coax is from your dish to your receiver the better the picture quality, its now 74/80%, now I don't get any break up when the weather is bad, where as I've set-up a 1m dish at my parents house in the back garden at the very back and when its rained they've got problems, although cable is in a shied plastic pipe-in, I have keep lifting and moving because it such a long way from the house, so I must be having some kinda ground problem, coz when I moved the cable and place it back on the ground the signal goes up, the only other way is to elevate it off the ground all the way to the house.. I hope you or some one else can tell why i am having this problem, and the dish I am using at mind is only 80cm without thought any prob what so ever.....
What size dish are you using??? also whats your signal strenght atm..???Have you tried various lnb?
As mentioned I am using a 80cm, a tm1500sensitive loop through to a tm9100s, using a fortec star lnb, whoops! and b4 any one comment on my lnb, I've just about tried them all and always seemed to come back to my old trusted friend(the fortec Star 4db lnb), which suited this set-up and doing just find atm..the last lnb I tried was a invacom 2 or 3 db, had it on for two weeks and ended going bk to my old friend...
soz, about my bad typing in the previous post, must a had one too many the nite b4...
