dark moter

please could someone tell me the maximum size pole for dark
motor ive tried to find it and cant my pole is 3inch at the moment
for channel master dish dont want change unless i have to

not sure of the actual answer , but mine is on a standard size scaffold pole which I think is 3 inches diameter

Standard Scaff poles are 2" diameter unlesss you got a 3" diameter rarely used, And yes the Dark Motor will stretch over a 3" diameter pole

if you have a channel master/andrews dish then a polar mount and actuator would be better than any diseqc/usals motor.. also the AZ/EL mount wont fit on a dark motor anyway without some modified back plate as the stub faces down. look at the stab 120 if you must use a diseqc 1.2/usals motor, regards mdt

hi , yep, just checked and my scaffold pole is 2 inches but measuring the motor mount you can use up to 3 inches as you say

thanks for all your replys i can now get a dark motor as it fits a 3inch
pole ive got to take down my channel master 1.2 dish as the
polar mount is going rusty i found a ally 1 metre orbital dish
on ebay for ?55 and intend to use it until i can weld a new
