    Astra Sat box.

Ok guys for a few years I have been watching British euro sport, on my old Pace box and dish.
As of today the German company or Astra Sat have gone digital so nothing now on the box.
Is the Pace box now another door stop for the bin or can I use a didgy box?
Will a BQ or Srewfix sat box pick up British Euro sport.
    I do not want Sky.
If you don't ask, you don't get.

eurosport germany is showing as clear on KOS on this transponder

    Astra 1L 12226.50 H 91 Astra 1L DVB-S QPSK 27500 3/4 38.0 Mbps

so almost any oem digital satellite box should be able to receive it, although its in german not english

I cant see you getting a free british eurosport though , and only the french ones seem to have an english audio pid

and yes your pace is probably a doorstop now

ps:- I do not believe you had british eurosport on analogue at 19e
I believe you had german eurosport and had changed the audio channel to english

buy whatever suits you and your budget and knowledge

just dont assume you will get british eurosport without a lot of effort

but you should get foreign versions using a digital sat box and a server where necessary

as ramjet has said english commentary eurosport is no longer free.if its plug and play you want then its either spiderbox or protek I"m not sure of the spiderbox line up but the protek will give you the following with english commentary on 13E eurosport int on 11.278 V 27500,19E eurosport on 12.344 H 27500 and on 16E they sometimes have eurosport in english on some of the supersport channels.but this is at a price the protek 9760 HD is around the 270 mark but the spider is a lot cheaper you need broadband connection for both(and if you go the linux route)
