Can't tune in Tring

Hi All

I have a tm 5042 on diesq 1.2, got all my satellites setup expect for Eutelsat 16, which I want for Tring. The satellite is on the list but the transponders do not match the ones on Lyng sat, for example Tring should be on transponder 11283 but there is no transponder 11283 on my list.

Any ideas please?

Menu advance search add tp then add the details.
Then scan

Manic01 - thanks for this - I am picking up JSC sports so it is picking up hotbird channels on this transponder - I am going to play with the tuner to see whether I can get 16

Yes, if you are on Hotbird on 11283, you could bring in Al Jazeera as that is 11296 on hotbird so it's quite close.

You just need to move the dish a touch to 16 east.

if its getting jsc its on hotbird on 13e and not 16e

justa quick one check if ur sat.xml is 16e and not 15.8e mine was last year took me days to work it out

Thanks Manic01 - great advice, moved the tuner and got the signal - all sorted now!!! Tring sports is down as Sport1, 2 etc.
