Really stupid question probably but here goes...
Just got one of these supposedly brand new to help re-setup my system.
The manual says charge for 5 hours before first time use...
Plugged it into mains, charging light flashes a few times then goes out.
Had a quick play with it and seems to work ok.
When I plug it back into mains light flashes a few times, light goes solid for a few minutes then goes off.
Tried another charger that I had and same thing happens.
I'm guessing this means battery has already been charged before receipt but as manual is totally useless I have no idea exactly what and how charging light indicates status, also doesn't seem to be any indication of battery charge.
Would appreciate any insight from anyone who already wins one of these as I know a few of you on here do.

light will flash then settle to steady glow when charging then go out once fully charged simple as that. there is no indication of state of charge I just recharge mine after every use and top it up once a fortnight/month if not in use.Its a good cheap meter for the amateur user.I"m always playing with different setups and found it great.

Thanks,does seem decent for the price.
Seems it was fully charged by the seller which is why it wasn't charging (doh!)
