Gamma card to BUY or NOT.

A few ? about this card. Should i go for it or not. If i do to buy one with the OS1.4 allready installed or not.Any other do,s or dont,s i would be grateful for. Thanks

expensive ?100ish for a card, supposed to be very easy to ~~~~ up terminally

I can buy one for under ?70 from a couple of sites in Germany, its just that they come Blank but show the ATR codes for OS1.4 Thanks for your reply..

just be very carefull where you buy gamma cards from
at lot dont work, any cards from austalia are the ones to
avoid like the plague, i would get it from a dealer who will
be there to help if you have problems. and as stated they are
very easy to damage. at the moment the files have slowed down
so keep that in mind before you buy a very expensive ice scraper if
the support has stopped

And to add to some good replys, Now is not the time to buy cards, Providers and coders of such cards know that the days of Nagra 3 are nearly over, and people like us will not want our screens going blank and will spend our money to continue watching pay tv by buying these products.

Its funny how all of a sudden channels and packages are been opened using such cards after having very little to open for such a long time.

My personal opinion if you do not need the chnnels been offered on these cards stay well clear untill later this year at least and see what happenes when Digitv switches over to nagra3. who knows what might come available.

Remember Countrys such as Germany, Spain, France and so on, have no way of opening there channels due to the use of Nagra3 NDS ant other forms of encryption, Digtv is no use to them if they cant speak English or Hungarian or pick up the satellite, with a Population over 731,000,000 I am sure it wont be long before something will open and we will have plenty of tv again.
