    Protek or Mvision?

Comparing the boxes Mvision has a lot to offer with free gift and many channels and online video store free. protek saves money overall by a one off lay out without the hassle of CS. What do you chaps think? any advice?
    Keep calm carry on.

atm the protek is the best choice as the m-vision is frought with sw bugs and the gift is far from stable... get a protek you wont be disappointed, regards mdt

I got an email from Skywise a day or two ago and they seem to be pushing the Mvision HD 270CN combo as if it were running perfectly. I downloaded a channel list from one site which lists British channels for the box, but the channel list from Skywise leaves these out. I wonder if those channels are the ones giving grief so are therefore ditched?

There are people giving good reviews on the Mvision at the Skywise forum. Maybe it is the box to get? If it were buggy and unstable would they be doing this?

I have gambled and grabbed one of these boxes before they sell out, going like hot cakes they are. I didn't buy from Skywise though, who's gonna pay ?199.00 for 'free' support, not me.

So I won't get their modded patch.

If I have this right I need a patch by Speedy from GXmax and a settings file from the Giorgio team, right?

          Hope I haven't made a mistake.

Will do, just had a knockback from the seller, they have run out of stock so I got a refund. In the end I had to go the eBay Italia route to get one, selling out like hot cakes they are. There isn't a box to be had virtually anywhere in Europe.

You do realise there are other Patchable receivers on the market for very little outlay such as the Icecrypt HD and the Head medis Link Black panther Galaxy which are cheaper than the Mvision and just need patching for the extra benefits so to speak.
