    Sky Plus

Hi can anyone tell me why no providers give out sky+ with their sharing servers? I am thinking of building a small server for home use to share my card out within my home, however I don't want to do it if it means I can't do sky +. Can anyone advise me please :-)

    Thanks in advance

How could people give out sky+ with their sharing servers?

Use a box that's pvr ready and that's as close to sky plus you will get.

Buy a box with a hd already installed and your good to go, if your looking at cheaper boxes such as the openbox etc, stuff can be recorded on them, just plug in a usb hard drive or usb thumb stick.

I have VU+ duo boxes with two DVB imputs. I want to watch one whilst recoring another. the box itself should be able to do this but will the sky card I am using (It has Sky + active on it ) work with on all of my 5 boxes
