all ok here... sounds like your motor has gone to the wrong sat. try driving your motor to zero then re-boot your box, regards mdt

All sorted now thanks. That's what the problem was. Also when I put the reciever on standby it loses the channel channel list and I have to reload it from USB is there a way to save it

Sorry it's a protek 9760

you should not lose your channel list on a protek 9760 either on standby or turning right off at the mains.make a note of all your settings in the box lat/long and all the others etc:and then do a "restore factory defaults" in the system setup menu then re enter all your settings and re-load a channel list.you should be on V1.17.firmware and 137X key.try this list if you want it covers the main sats from 30W to 42E but check your long/lat after loading.

I did try the reset when I first got the box but still hav the same prob it won't save any channels that hav bein scanned either I will giv ur channel list a go thanks

I have just bought a protek 9760 and I have channels that don't work. Can you please tell me what can be the problem?
Specially in ASTRA 19.2E and before I had a dreambox and they functionned normally.
Also for the Digital+ Spanish channels there are plenty that don't work.

not all channels clear via the internet connection but most do... there are plenty of other channels on 23.5e/19.2e/16e/13e/7e/30w ect... your dreambox was probably using a sea-lion and thus opened all the digital+channels whereas the darkforces to keep the server stable eliminate some of the channels in the package but try to keep the best ones. be gratefull for what you have opening and enjoy them while they last! regards mdt
