    Install cccam manually

How do I install cccam 2.1.3 manually on a vu solo box, running vix 2.4.

    just ftp to it,

so ftp://192.168.1.14 and then click page and open in folder then drop the IPK file into the temp folder..

then click menu, setup, vix and then install local extension

to run it press blue button then start, you then have to drop your cccam.cfg file into etc folder in the root of your box

If you need the Vix cams instead of using TsPanel then they can be found Here.

      Code:

if you have tspanel installed you can use the other addons servers, if not then ftp it in or use the ipk installer. regards mdt

Have done all of this rebooted receiver and when I activate CCcam with the tick and activate, the screen message says CCcam.config needs to be placed in the etc/ directory. I can see it there with DCC but for some reason its not recognised. Help please

You can create your own just open up a new notepad document copy and paste in the relevant data if you know what i mean then close and save as CCcam.cfg and ftp this file into the etc/ folder.

I have already have created this cfg file before and used the same working file on other e2 receivers with other images including VIX 2.4 and Pli. Formerly on this same receiver I had Pli firmware. I have tried a complete reinstall 3 times now with different CC c a m versions with the same result. Im Perplexed to say the least.

Ok then have you tried on of the Vix cams from 4shared instead of using the ones from the TSpanel feed might work worth a try anyway

Thanks for the suggestion but Ive tried from this link as well as another I previously loaded on to another Vu+ Duo which worked on that one. Tried Vix build 175 and even 213 to no avail.
