Between the end of March & the start of May will be the final implementation of Nagra3 encryption of Digitv tv on thor 0.8 West, Channels are expected to start fully using Nagra3 within the month of April of course in a transitional phase, but this could be speeded up due to them sumilcasting of both encryption for the past numer of months running out any bugs in there system.

Its is perhaps a shame the current credit crunch felt across europe did not sart a year earlyer and most of these provider might have held onto there money instead of upgrading Encryption on the other hand subscriptions are sky high in countrys that have already changed over such as Polsat & Premiere seeing a masive increase in the taking up of subscriptions.

So it realy looks like a lot of people are not waiting around for a hack for Nagra3 (And I think they might be right !).

We might Just get to the end of the football season out of Thor before it goes blank.

The only problem with Duolabs will be when Conax change and update here encryption in he second to third quarter of this year ! I have a sneeky suspicion they / Conax are only doing this to stop providers selling on there keys to companys and card manufactures and making the present harware been used unable to work with the updated encryption thus stopping the resale by third partys of conax encryption.

The upside to all of this of course if people all around Europe and North America can no long open channels it will make some very determined set-top-box, chip manufactures sit down with dedicated hacking groups to open some of the encryption been used, this entire hobby is run by the sales of receivers and other hardware in coperation with the manufactures.

We will have plenty of channels I am sure of it (but what ? I dont know )
