spiderbox hd 9000 help please!!!

Hello there i'm new in here and i would like to have to know about how my receiver works.
few weeks ago i did buy a spider box hd 9000 and it was with patches and everything today by mistake i suppose to read in here first before i took action the receiver it has the October 2011 the last update and i was going to update with march 2012 and suddenly all me scramble channel went off which i cannot see therm any more this channels are the eutelsat w2 16 Grade East digtalb and tring and i dont know what should i do do i have to go again to the people where i bought or some one can give me some help please thank you and all the best.

if you have updated it to march 2012 and factory reset, then it sounds like you havent turned the networking back on

go to where it says network in the menu and highlight it, then press 1111 and you should see keyedit appear. the patch is now switched on

now go into networking and ensure your box has an ip address off your router. then check the section marked ethernet and make sure it says CONNECTED

now check your gift channels are working ok again

once this has been done, load this weeks softcam after making sure ucas has been turned on in keyedit too

read my post again

press menu

go to accessory and highlight the bottom NETWORK in orange

do not press ok

now press 1111 and KEYEDIT should appear above it

once it shows KEYEDIT the networking is turned on

now go to network and press ok

under the next NETWORK , below TYPE, ensure you are getting an ip address from your router

now go to the bottom ETHERNET above newcamd server and check it says CONNECTED

dear there i'm doing all exactly as you say when i go to the accessory and i have press four time 1111 there is not keyedit comes up are we clear so far

What I can see is for the first time I didn't save all the settings on USB stick before I did the factory setting when I start downloading on network name and ip address and down start download is trying to connect it say please check server ip address which it has www.spiderbox.tv/software/HD9000.nsd maybe I need to enter I need to enter e different one.thanks

sounds like you are trying to do an online download

I suggest you download the march 2012 file for your spiderbox from the mandatory patches thread, put it on a fat32 usb stick and patch the box that way, then follow my instructions to switch the patch on

hello there now i have the nov 15 patches after pressing four times 1 keyedit come up i follow all the instruction you have posted to me for some reason client type is on then when press register it says connecting and it never connect for at least two hours which i have try it sometimes on connection status it says login is failed error code 209 any idea what should i do please thank you

you should now follow my earlier post and ensure you are using the latest march 2012 patch from the mandatory patches thread (post #23)

you say you are following my instructions but clearly you arent as you are back on a 2011 patch

back up your channel list, then install the mar 2012 patch by usb stick , factory reset, turn on the patch , turn on networking and ensure you get an ip address from your router

check system info shows a date of mar 29 2012

switch off using the rear switch, count to 10 and switch back on again

now check network - ethernet and see if it connects as it should say CONNECTED

just above where it says CONNECTED it should show mc250 and most of the box`s mac code, greyed out, ensure it has this or it wont login

I never asked you to check client type , just Ehernet second from bottom in networking

I should also point out that if and when you downloaded an online file from the spiderbox website, it is an official file and not a patch, which is why you could not turn the patch on as it wasnt present
