hi guys looking at buying a sat meter anyone know were is the best place to get one from looking at a hald desent one.buget ?100 tx

Once the dish and motor are properly aligned you never really with them unless the wind or a huricane blows it of course. Unless you are a sat installer I think spending ?100 for a sat meter seems a bit excessive.

How come you only ever see the cheap whislting ones or the bigger expensive ones..... where do you get the small digital read-out ones with the nice low tone sounding noise like the one you see that guy with in the GBsat youtube vid?

Have had a sat meter now for approx 8 yrs......hardly ever use it........it cost me about ?250 then.

Unless yuo are using it every day....in my opinion, a waste of money.

All ive ever needed is a good compass to find S .....thor sat around this area........you can work out all other positions from this.

I have a horizon sat usb version sat meter and for 200 squid was well worth it but i do use it alot

ill second that!!!...used lots of meters and the horizon is best by far,so sensitlve for picking up those weak birds.....
