how to do live stream

Hi,
I need to do live streaming from sat reciever to PC and then thru internet in H264 format.
Can any one guide me what hardware to use to connect pc
to receiver?
i am not sure if tv tuner or capture card will help since we have to do live streaming. and so has to do it live and then convert it to h264 3-4 channels at a time

Take it step by step, firstly get the media streaming to your pc and then to internet, then worry about the conversion afterwards.

Or you could look at a slingbox.

Connecting to PC is the only thing i am not aware.Streaming can be done by s/w but not sure how to connect to PC is the best way from RCA Audio/Video and convert it into some live stream..Any ideas anyone?

easiest way to do this is buy a slingbox...and you can stream and control your box from anywhere over the internet

Which box are you streaming? If your using an Enigma based box you can stream easily to your PC using VLC then from there to the internet.
