    Help needed north east

Hi everyone I'm looking to install system that will allow me to watch all the channels in HD. I'm having a few changes to my house so this will be the best time to do it (like routing cable through the property etc) I already have a sky dish up but Currently use a ktyptview box. Ideally I would like someone to install everything for me........please!

If you're happy watching just 28.2 Sky Uk you dont need to do much unless you want a motorised setup avearge price about 170 quid supplied and fitted.

You only need a hd box mate a broadband connection and you dont even need the router to be near the box,Bobs Your Uncle.
Do some reading mate in the Sat Section but be careful what you say regarding card sharing its not allowed.
All the info is on the forum, all you need is to decide what box you want and how much you want to spend.
Bin the Kryptview pile of crap.

those decisions are down to individual preferences, there is no "best box" or "best setup" as there are too many variables, and budget can play a large part in those decisions

there are plenty of threads on here about buying boxes, dishes and motors so I suggest you take a look at what is available and narrow it down a bit

You have 4 or 5 choices,Dreambox 800hd or Se,Blade,Vu Duo, or cheaper options are the Openbox.
No need for pm mate this is ok to talk about on the open forum plus lots of threads on the different boxes.
All depends on what you want regading epg pvr hd etc

Have a look at this there are several threads all very repetitive

Ok thanks, my budget would be ?500 please forgive me but reading through all the info available on here would just melt my brain....I'm not very tech minded. However, I sort of get the 'sat thingy' just the very basics tho, ie sat dish, a 'magic' box and having to get access to the signal. I suppose sky hd channels would be fine but obviously motorised hd setup would be better I guess. Honestly any info would be most helpful and really greatly appreciated!!

Really dont need to spend that kind of money unless your loaded
There are some high spec original boxes like the Extrend but Satellite isnt like Cable plug and play.
Hard when you first start then once your over the initial setup its a breeze trust me.

its also worth bearing in mind that you wont get the channels you get on the krypt without some "extra help" in the form of cs

so no point asking about sly HD or any other sly channels as all the actual equipment will obtain is fta channels

how you do the extras after patching is where its either easy or harder depending on the box

a simple and good starter box is the blade bm7000s and should be easy to step up to from the simpler krypt

Thanks for all your input I've had another look at the different boxes and I'm still none the wiser. I think I'll go for the motorised setup, but still don't know which box! Like I said I would happily pay someone to come and Install and demo setup!!
