    Blade7000

    Hi All

Can someone explain the difference between Auto Scan & Blind Scan
I noticed 4 channels changed freq today so I did an Auto Scan and noticed in my KIDS Group these 4 channels disappeared
Whats the best way to get these channels back do I copy them from the box or use something like NDFEDIT my problem is without testing the channel I dont know if it is the correct one to add to my KIDS list.

Also is there a way to update the freq in the blade without having to scan the lot again

Have my own list setup as there's no Irish list on the server
Any ideas on how to change the freq on the blade

auto scan scans the transponders already on the box , whereas blind scan starts at one frequency and works up until all frequencies and symbol rates are scanned in

if you are adding channels to an existing transponder in your list (rescanning it) use a manual scan on that one transponder

if you are adding a brand new transponder, add it and scan it so its added to your list

manually rescanning an existing single transponder, or manually scanning a new one wont alter your lists either, apart from adding new channels to the bottom of the ALL list, and renaming any that have changed name

          Hi

I have added all my details to the cccam section and all works well I noticed if you press the GRP button you can save you cccam settings but this brings up the password box.
When I press the 0000 it does not work no matter how many times I try
I did not change the password so is there a different password for this.
