bought vu duo - single feed lnb - split feed or new lnb? recommend lnb & sat cable ty

Hi, just bought my self a Vu+ Duo clone, still on the way. Need some advice regarding my current installation.

I currently have a 1m motorised dish with single Inverto Black Ultra LNB. Can i possibly split the feed for both the tuners? (in hope)

Regarding the cabling if I need to buy another LNB, I currently have wf100 single satellite cable coming of the LNB, would i need to replace the cabling with twin shotgun cable or can i just install another single cable?

also if i need to buy a new lnb, can you recommend one please.

    Thanks

I use the inverto ultrablack twin lnb and suggest you buy the same, it cost me about ?21 delivered

you can use one extra coax cable, or replace with shotgun cable, your choice

no you cannot split the single feed

i thought i would need to change the lnb.

regarding cabling no point removing old wf100 cable, might as well just add single feed cable.

does it matter which cable i use? any recommended?
im thinking of buying 100m rj6 cable for ?14.50.

depends on the run lengh of your current WF100 feed, RG6 is OK but if your looking at going over a 30m run then dont scrimp and get some more WF100.

The RG6 should be fine over that lengh, as for swapping a black ultra from a motorised and replacing with a Sky quad. I shall pretend i never read that LOL that would be like going from a Ferrari to a Fiesta, Please as ramjet advised get the Dual Black Ultra for the motorised and leave the Quad on the sky dish.

If you just have a look on the auction site now price for a Twin is ?14.95 delivered.
