    Some of your valued opinions please?

    Hi guys.Correct me if im in the wrong forum but i needed to get some advice for a friend and this place always helped me on the subject im going to refer to.Anyway a mate was going to get official sky installed,a guy came round and told him he could get him every channel available eg sly sports movies ect and do it all over a broadband connection.I have an idea how its done as im an ex box-t user myself and god how i miss thatAnyway the guy wanted 700 quid instalation and 200 a yr subscription.I taught instalation was very expensive but he reckons the boxes are worth 600.And is there a risk of it going belly up and bye bye 700?Any opinions greatly appreciated guys..Many thanks.

      The box is worth ?600? and the sub ?200 ? roflmao: the most expensive box for cs on the market is around ?900, (the official dm8000) so its not that box.. next box is around ?400 (official dm800). there is no box being sold for ?600.. your mates being blagged. box, dish, uk sly channels for one yr should cost no more than ?250 for the lot. box, yrs line and dish etc.. even motorised, your looking at tops ?400 for the full set up and a yrs line for euro sats...

          Tell you friend to tell this guy to take a running jump off a high cliff, he's a scam artist to the first degree asking for that sort of money.

          Take a look around this forum, you will find excellent advice on how to get SKYUK for a fraction of the price that this scam artist is looking.

              tell your mate to get sly instaled for free, get the dish up, then cancel. theyll come and have the box back maybe.. but the dish will be left there.. then get an openbox for around ?60 tops. a line can be got for as little as ?7 pm for full uk sly. but not here...
