    Vu+ Ultimo or Xtrend ET9500

Going to bite the bullet this weekend as I'm fed up waiting for the next big thing to arrive!
For me, I have narrowed it down to a choice of the above but can't decide yet. I only need 2 tuners really but is there much else to seperate the two? Not worried about the ?40 odd quid price differance and as far as I am aware, they share the same chipset, so I expect the performance to be similiar. I have heard about poor/over sensitive tuners in the Duo, are they same in the Ultimo and how do they compare to the Xtrend?
Not into feed hunting, just trying to watch as many tv channels as possible!
I will be using which ever box I decide on with a T90 torroidal dish and s*y minidish with about 6 lnb's and a switch, currently connected to my Dm500s clone. I have a legit s*y card and sub and a sealion for all the other sats.
    So, what do you reckon?

You pretty much summed it up internally they are identical right down to same RAM 512mb and nandflash 1GB, The only reason i would steer towards the Ultimo is the fact that you have space for another tuner if needed does not have to be satellite either and also Support the Ultimo has the backing of everyone that supports the 9500 plus Blackhole team.

The only problem i had with my Ultimo was HighBand frequency's kept breaking up even though signal quality was around the 90% mark apart from that it was a very good box.

m8 i have the 9200 its a good box but would not buy one again i would go for 2 single tuner boxes, such as xtrend 6000/6500 or uno solo orginals and a dvb 500 hd which is a cracking little box for the money,if you have a s** sub you will have there box so why have a twin tuner leave that alone and connect up the rest to you new box

Thanks for the replies, looking for a 1 box solution so think I will go with the ultimo if just for the slightly better support and the option of another tuner to play with.

You won't be sorry it's a great box takes a while to get used to it but it does nearly anything you throw at it.
