Linux Enigma Twin Tuner Box under ?150 quid

Was looking at getting a new set top box, and i seen this

AMIKO ALIEN V2 TWIN (S2+S2) -3G support (ENIGMA 2) WIFI Ready

was thinking about getting a blade but looking at the spec not too bad for that price and you get two dvbs-2 tuners. i know all the german satellite magazines have this product on the front pages. but just want to get people thoughts on the box and if anybody here has got one of them .
or should i just play it safe and buy a blade.
    tell me what you think

and 1 more thing whats HBBTV

I like my blade but would much rather have enigma 2. saving to buy the VU+ clone. Never noticed this box before. Would love to hear some feedback for it. Can you fit an internal HDD?

surely with it being enigma2 it has just as much support as any box?

No mate, each box needs it's own image compiled for it, hardware drivers vary too.

Just because a box is Enigma 2 based doesn't mean that it will have good support, just look at the Technomate TM800HD as an example.

              Unfortunately not.

The Linux image has to be complied for each individual box.

Image devs usually review the hardware before deciding whether or not to start creating images, in the case of the failed TM800 Devs weren't impressed with the Philips NXP chipset so they chose to ignore it.

I'd play safe and go for a clone DM800SE, rock solid machines.

Id go got the Vu Duo.

So far most of my mates have switched from the Dm800 pro and bought the Duo.

So far i have flashed 13 duos. 3 Originals ands rest from Tina.

Out that I have had 1 DEAD original and only 1 clone that wouldnt take some images but managed to get BH 1.7.3 on and has been fine since.

So dont read too much into the what ppl say about the clones as the originals are not without problems.

Tina from yaoxincn, I always deal with Tina direct on MSN then she just sends out the invoices to my mates paypal.

                            They have all been V2.0

I also check them when I add the HDD and not one of the psu or any of the board had any corrosion like the pics in another thread.

Everything is a chance in life. You take the chance.

Maybe I have been really really really lucky with clone boxes but to date all i have had is 1 dead tuner on the 800 which Tina replaced right away.

?170ish delivered sounds a good price. If the worst comes to the worst I can always claim through paypal. I'll probably go for one.
