VU+SOLO CLONE FROM MIXESHOP

Hi

I have been undecided as to buy a VU+SOLO original or clone, I have bought DM 800 clones from Mixeshop.com (Yoaxen) before and I have never had any problems, just wondered if anyone has bought the VU clones from them.

I can get a Solo clone for around ?100 delivered in about 4 days, or get an original for ?180, this is quite a difference as you can see but I would like a few reviews on them before I buy. I am thinking of buying a Tablet PC at the same time to save on postage.

I never had no problems with my Duo from them although that was an early V1 release, With all the reports of the V2 both duo and solo having poor PSU units my advice would be to stay well clear or get another 800/SE or even pay the extra ?80 for an original

Its more geared towards the Duo rather than the solo as it appears that the Duo has been cloned again and some reports although i cannot confirm myself is that Mixeshop sell the clone of clones on the Duo but nothing to report on the Solo.

I have recently had 2 Solo's from Nextbay and can safely say these are Ferrari product and not Clone of Clones.

You may be wise if after a Clone Solo to source one from Nextbay instead of mixeshop

Also can the VU remote operate the TV like the Dreambox remotes?

you have to click onto the online shop part to get prices, also pay in dollars and not ? as the exchange rate is better.

The remote is basic and sorry to say cannot control the TV, an external powered usb hard drive can be added no problem

Dont waste your money on a solo clone buy a genuine box like a GiGaBlue HD800 SE for ?150 from a UK retailer and get peace of mind of a warranty

i wouldnt excactly call them a waste of money. i have bought 4 and 3 are running fine with blackhole and 1 with vix 2.3 and as have countless other members although i understand the piece of mind argument,regards mdt

Nope not a single problem :-), that does not mean though that anyone else buying one will not. Like anything in life its the luck of the draw

No they're not!

They're genuine boxes and running the same CPU as Vu+ Solo
