Recommendations for linux receivers please...

Hello all...with the ever expanding range of linux enabled boxes these days,I'd like to know your personal favourites and brief reasons why,as I am looking into buying one(sick of basic freeview) and need general functionality and stability as a must...also preferred are HD compatibility,the addition of a sata hard drive or dual usb recording,and (though not initially,as I know I have to learn!) a user-friendly interface...all suggestions are very much welcome,and if you are aware of prices I should be expecting to pay,without getting shafted,that would be a bonus...!

Just recommendations for general boxes...Openbox,Dreambox etc.
