Guys stop moaning like a bunch of wimpos. The earth is provided when you screw the f-connector to LNB. motor, receiver etc etc etc. I always cut off the loose strands of wires and shield and works BRILLIANTLY. I thought you lot were meant to be PROFESSIONALS.
ALL electricity needs a "circuit" to work... The inner of coax provides the "+" and the outer the "-" it simply won't work if either is missing!
Think of it as a battery connection on your car.... Remove one lead and the car is dead...

Allo Bigfat ... what is TAPATAPA??? Also i dont think that LNB work same as cars.. I have never put petrol in LNB. I think you find that LNB/motors are actually earthed by the receivers. If you open up your receiver i am sure there is an earth connection somewhere..thats why you get a fuse as a free gift.

time you boned up on social networking, especially tapatalk instead of showing ignorance
and no, no earths exist on modern boxes, already mentioned that in my previous replies. the boxes use a figure of 8 type power lead or a 2 wire power lead and "earths" are not used at all, but the name "earth" is common slang for the return leg for the coax screen, or "earth" on a car which is used as a common return in metal cars to cut down on wiring
and your tidy method of connection is incorrect to a "professional" but maybe not to a cowboy or a shyster amateur with no qualifications
and their are two N in the word guinness
maybe if some members spent more time helping and less time taking the mick out of other members answers they may actually learn something , but I doubt it myself as some people have nothing better to do than troll other members answers in order to belittle them
