    do you rescan? on satellite to search new channels?

    how does it work? to check and install new channels?

    you can just do a rescan but dont do a factory reset as that wipes your box of all info.sometimes it asks clear before scan --yes and do automatic scan on the sat you choose.

      Hi. Best way is to do a blind scan . This will scan the whole satellite and tune in whatever it finds. Doing a normal scan is a waste of time in my opinion as it will only scan preset frequencies(TP's). Best way to do blind scans is as follows:
      1) Save your current channel list to USB in case you hit problems and have to go back.
      2) Choose a satellite ie HOTBIRD.
      3) Delete all the current TP's on HOTBIRD only . This will clear out the good and bad TP's.
      4) Start the blind scan and let it tune in evrything .
      5) When scan completed check channels working ok and sort them out in the way you want.
      6) Go onto the next satellite and repeat from step 3.

      This is the way i do my blind scans and hope you find it helpful.
