    1 Box, 3 TV's HELP!!!

Which box would you guys recommend ? I am installing a dish + box on a Pub.

They have some sort of RF in out sending equipment there but as they are new owners I'm not sure if everything is there... so.

What box would you recommend ? (TM5402 I was thinking?)

And if needed which send receiver equipment so that the box can be sent to 3 other Televisions?

    Help ASAP!!

tm5402 and spiderbox 9000, both have rf modulators built in so can send out an RF channel intot he aerial system then split that aerial feed using a standard mains powered aerial splitter like global or slx to go to as many tv`s as you like

alternatively use any box you like and feed it into an old vcr and use that to output an rf channel, or use a game console adapter with any box to achieve the same thing

the main problem is that its RF so poor quality and not HD , but the main tv near the box can use HDMI or even scart RGB

They have that one in the Pub at the moment.

Where would the RF cable go from the box? Into UHF or into slot 1?

It goes into UHF the Slot 1-4 is for the feeds out, so to 4 different TV's

I have used those before, and the 6 or 8 way versions too

the outside aerial needs to go into the satellite receiver first into its uhf input, pick up the internally modulated feed (like on a sly box) and then go from its uhf (rf) output to the philex splitter into its uhf input, then the 4 outputs can feed 4 different tv,s

I dont understand what you mean the outside aerial?

            Could you explain please?

I am guessing you mean the outside aerial as in the freeview one?

Could I not just use a cable from the Main TV into the box?

If you wanted to feed both the Freeview signal and 5402 signal into the SLX then you would connect an external outside aerial into RF IN on the 5402 and the RF OUT on the 5402 into the UHF IN on the SLX 4 way, This will then feed Freeview and Sat to 4 different TV's if you just want the sat forget the aerial part

If all the TV's are HD ready, why not get some kind of HD splitter. 1 HD in to 4HD tv's out.

Depending how far away the tv's are though, you can use ethernet cables for longer distances & they pulg into the
                HD/Ethernet adapter on each TV.

If the TV's are only 20m away, you could get away with 20m HD cables.
I have done a few of these & generally ran the long HD cables above the ceiling then dropped it down near the back of the tv's.

This is pretty expensive though, but the picture quality if far better than RF.
If the RF cables are already in place, just use that, I would unless they wanted ALL HD.
You could do one or 2 tv's for HD, then the others RF.

The 5402HD would be a good box to use though as it already has RF out connection &
scart & HD, so the box has plenty of connection options.
Also, very very easy to set up with motorised dishes.

                  2 Port HDMI splitter/hub/switch/multi/1 input 2 output | eBay

I got one of these yesterday - It would be the same sort of thing your after if you was to go down the HD route - but with 4 outputs - would be a very very good picture quality however.
