Blade 7000s sound issue

I have the above and sound constantly dims when selecting a new channel, is there new firmware to fix this, Also the epg has to be updated all the time, can this fixed or do i have to manually update?

what would be the best firmware to install.

I can access ccline info via 9991.

use the latest may 2012 firmware and the volume defaults to maximum on all channels so should fix the sound issue (jan2012 fixed it too I believe)

so if your firmware is not 2012 try the may 2012 one

epg is manual update and always has been, its never been auto update and I am not aware of any 3rd party box that has auto update either, they all have some workaround even if its a scheduled download plugin like on a vu or dm

I am also having sound issues only when playing movies through the file manager. I get picture but no sound at all. I have tried different sound output but still nothing.

If I flash my box (BladeBM7000S) with the latest may update, will I lose my Newcam settings?
