Receiver with good picture quality

Can anyone recommend a receiver linux or non-linux with a better pic quality than the dreambox dm800se clone as I'm trying to upgrade to a new stb.

I've compared my mates vu+ duo and xtrend et600 but the pic is not as good as my dm800se (using open pli image)

Any recommendations or advice would be much appreciated.
