    Advice appreciated, thanks in advanced

    kej Hello all
could do with some advice, we have been running for some years now a couple of TM 5400ci's then added Tring card plus, now the 3 pm Sat and 4 pm Sun games have gone, looking for a system that has the capability to deliver the above, not much interest in any other channels but if a system delivers the above would be delighted, any help with this is very much appreciated.
Have been informed about AD sports IPTV via a non satellite box, please note we are well aware that we would require a sat dish the size of a swimming pool to get AD sports via a Sat dish, any advice given is very much appreciated
    Thanks

To give you some idea of a reciever and package we would need some idea of your budget, as you are well aware there are other means of getting these channels but that is not discussed here

I paid for the tring plus package ?289 and would be willing to pay around the same for the season, please note this is for home use only, but would greatly appreciate a solution that would deliver this, live games is what I am after and have options to keep up to date with all matches, thank you

It it was just a season the above give or take a few quid, however if it is to invest in a new system that will last a few years quite a bit more, we always look for value for money, any indication appreciated

If your going the Legit route then its either Tring again but this time no 3pm's for around the same price or get a SatBG card for 23.5? east at around ?349 or cheaper with at least 1 guaranteed 3pm kick off on a Saturday.

On the otherhand you still have a little softcam left with the 5400's which will open Diema,NovaSport on Bulsat 39? east for how long no one knows, This way you get to re-use the current receivers and just get a motorised dish install, !m should cover you for most stuff and you may also get the odd freebie on 7? east GRTS channel which pops a game on FTA @ 3pm on the odd occassion again nothing guaranteed.

I would say for the 1m option and re-use the TM's for softcam then around ?150 for Dish, Motor, Wall Bracket ( South Facer ), Black Ultra LNB then you would have to install it or get someone in.

Just add a receiver cost to the above if your going to go HD anything in the region starting at ?60 up to at least ?500

            Thanks digcon
I already have 1 meter motorized dish and a good LNB, I thought nova sports on bull sat was gone that's why I went to tring plus card well over a year ago, I also thought diema would have been gone by now,
I knew I had to get a HD box but wanted to know what one to get so if I wanted to invest for the next few years I could get the 3pm games with a choice to watch, if possible !

already been down the route of the non paying veiwer so it would not bother me to pursue this route again or a good package if one is available for the games, just not upto date with what can be done on the new boxes so presume if there is a will there is a way with a few pounds as indicated earlier invested, your help is appreciated and thanks for taken the time out to help out

you still have PLTV HD open on 10e with a biss key and those bulsat ones on 39e with a softcam, and the bulsats can be had from your old boxes

as for a new box, depends if you want to go linux with vu or dreambox, or bespoke boxes like the tm5402 or blade bm7000s or spiderbox 7000 or 9000 or something similar

and bear in mind do you want twin tuner or single tuner ?

nobody can guarantee you access to scrambled channels unless you pay a sub

single or twin tuners is self explanatory, a single tuner allowing singular access to channels for watching or recording, or 2 tuners allowing the same access twice, so like a twin tuner sly plus you could watch one channel and record another different channel, or record 2 different channels at the same time

did not realise that, do not want to record any channels only would like to get a good box that can be supported to gain good access to channels that may show the 3pm's, any indication which way to go is appreciated, thank you

Also consider the Protek range of receivers they have a similar 'Gift' to the spiderbox but are a lot more stable by all accounts, They cost quite a bit more as well.
