Question about the Alien, can you stream xvid/avi files directly from your pc via ethernet. I know it does play these files but not sure if only via usb?

It would be wrong t look on the Amiko ALien 2 as just a satellite box. The native spark software runs DVB-S, DVB-T and DVB-C as well as HBBTV, IPTV, WebTV, Shoutcast, Opera web browser and many other multimedia applications. The 450Hhz processor is twice as fast as the Qbox HD mini and although enigma2 images still need some work the latest, like the one from the Polish Koders Team, are getting close to 100%.

If the enigma 2 side can run an epg like the duo. And do streaming to ipad on dreambox live type app. I would definately be interested.
