BISS and Irdeto 2 Keys

To open channels that are encrypted by BISS (PLTV on 10e), do you just put the file SoftCam.Key in var/keys or do you have to put the following lines in CCcam.cfg:-

SOFTKEY FILE : /usr/keys/SoftCam.Key
AUTOROLL FILE : /usr/keys/AutoRoll.Key
STATIC CW FILE : /usr/keys/constant.cw

???


Also, when using Irdeto 2 keys for Bulsat (on 39e), do you do the same with the SoftCam.Key, but use Mgcamd rather than CCcam???

basically your right m8, put the softcam in USR/KEYS and then restart mgcamd and the channels should clear,regards mdt

CW's (Control Word) are often incorporated into the softcam key file so no more work is involved unlike the closed source box which has to have them manually added by remote.


you can use any softcam you like with softcam files.

just use version 1.38

if you install cccam 2.2.1,mgcamd 1.38, scam 3.60 and oscam Y mod T30 you can open all thats available with softcam/b.i.s.s. keys. theres quite a good selection of channels open with these 4 emulators... enjoy while it lasts,regards mdt

I have installed CCcam 2.2.1 and Mgcamd 1.38 but still there is no SoftCam.Key file ??

When I try to run Mgcamd my box says it will have to stop CCcam from running?

How can I get PLTV on 10e working?

you need to put a keypack in usr/keys... minicats,b-liner,serjoga ect ect. if using oscam y mod then you need to put a oscam.keys file in ect/tuxbox/config. stop cccam and start mgcamd 1.38 and if the softcam is up to date then pltv will open. regards mdt

in a word YES all enigma2 receivers are the same and can run the same protocols

from tests I did trying to open Bulsat with cccam - the irdeto2 keys would not work, so had to revert back to a patched mgcamd
