vPlug is a plug-in system that is used with DVB-S cards, there is no way you can use it with a receiver.

No you are wrong you can use use SBCL/VPLUG with a Dreambox, Technomate, Humax and a good few others. connection can made over your network or directly using a rs232 db9 cable (laptop or computer must be connected to the internet.

PC Setup

1. Install SBCL vplug and amend the path in plugins\vplugin.ini to match
2. Put the latest bin data/ Keys, into the plugins folder
3. Start SBCL (click on the SBCL .exe)
4. Click on the tuner tab and enter your Dreambox IP address
5. Set protocol to newcamd
6. Click the START button
7. Select vplug from the menu bar and select ACTIVE
8. Select vplug from the menu and select SHOW MONITOR



Dreambox setup

1. Install CCcam if not already done.
2. FTP /var/etc/CCcam.cfg to your PC
3. Add this line to your config file usng your IP address (do a FIND on SBCL in the file):

N: 192.168.1.2 6001 test test 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

4. FTP CCcam.cfg back to /var/etc/ on your Dreambox


Date/ time.

1. Open a telnet session to your Dreambox.
2. Type date
3. Set your PC to the same time as your Dreambox


Router setup- optional

You may need to configure you router for port forwarding on port 6001. Setup forwarding on this port to your PC's IP address

two cards make good sense because prem is on N3 and sky italy is on NDS

Premiere are using both encryptions in simulcast (N3 & NDS) and has been been the case for 6 months or so, and its been recently pointed out to me that Premiere will continue using under contract N3 untill 2012 along side NDS.

A little more news on this subject coming threw, As I predicted previously a cam will be required called the BlueCryptCam which is used to exploit a weakness in NDS Videoguard encryption, also required will be a smartcard DPSCs (digital pirate smart cards) this has been confirmed by a smartcard distributor in Germany and is to be call the Blucard.

The Bad news:
There won’t be any emulators (emu). The “blue cards” containing its own operating system and will be released and distributed within the next week . They will be programmable using a Phoenix, CAS3 or Infinity programmer.


Not all receivers will need the BlueCryptCam Some satellite receivers can get an unencrypted firmware update for Premiere over the air, so some will only need the Smart card for the rest a cam will be required.

The talk about Sky Uk & Sky Italia also been open is crap as this hack has been described as NDS temp crypthack and was exploit during the transition phase from Nagra2 Aladin to Nagra3 or NDS.

I personally think you are only waisting you money buying any of the formentioned devices I have mentioned as we all know NDS can change the rom over at any time but of course they will wait untill they can hurt people silly enough to buy any of these devices.

The only way a N*S hack will work and survive is to make it free for everyone (not commericial) when enough people can see and use the base codes and see how the encrypion works there will be more chance of keeping it open, but when its hidden on special cards and cams it will always be short lived....

im a bit green to this chat about hacking systems. but can you explain why the hack will last longer if its more freely available? wouldnt that cause the operators to lock the hack down sooner as more people will hav eaccess to the programs? if it is 'hidden' as it has been romoured for so long with sly uk isnt that the reason it has lasted so long and made some people more money? (thats if its true).
although maybe im seeing a point as to the cable hack lasting forever as its freely available.
does this 'hack' have anything to do with sly uk changing their cards very soon?

Its like a big Jigsaw Puzzle (Encryption) the more people who can see and work with the code the quicker and more likely it is to be solved and also to solve any changes made in the future.

When is a few guys in a bedroom thinking only about making money the easer it is to update the encryption and knock out the loophole they are using. especially if it only on one service provider.

For this to work you need nearly all providers to be opened across many platforms, this would mean that all there roms are no good, forceing them to use some new version of encryption which could take a year or two be implemented as we have seen with nagravision.

if they made any N D $ hack available then our friends in the uk would just do a card swapout. They would not afford to leave it as is becaus the ammount of customers they would looses would kill them. Premier done a card swap. C+ is supposed to be doing a card swap any time now. The skys will go dark Soon.

The next big move will be on cardsharing with something that blocks certain segments of the encryption to create freezing making the cardsharing unwatchable, its small amounts of code added to the smartcard that only receivers registered with the provider can ignore, another method to come along is to make the encryption virtualy live, so the time the code is released to the data package there is no time to pass it on to another receiver.

$ky uk are changing cards next month or so. so maybe the end is sooner than anyone thought. well in the uk anyway.

SKYs main reason for the card change is due to the contract with N*S in changing the cards every five years, in order to secure the service from any openings, the only problem SKY has with its service is cardsharing and its believed that they will address this issue with this new card, simply by making the Rom faster will cause freezing in cardsharing.

Our card is white, its not Bluestarcrypt1 or the like,
it doesnt decode Nagravision, the software uses a gap
in the Videoguard encoding wich it simply bypasses.
The files will be released 06.04.2009 to some of the popular boards.
Due to some incidents in recent times some boards will be exluded.

Well, My friend received the New Sk y card and he was able to make 2 dreamboxes CS it . I dont know much about this subject but i can certainly say so far its possible to watch from 2 rooms within the same house. I dont think Sk y will bother much with CS as they are not hard hit like those accessible via just a Key and EMUs
